Sales Account Manager

You have a fantastic opportunity to join an industry-leading technology company based in Tamworth in a business-to-business sales role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for finding and developing new business
  • Handling and growing existing business accounts to maximise their value
  • Presenting existing and potential clients with our solutions for their events, including proposals and associated costs, getting involved with wash-up meetings and keeping customers updated with the latest technology
  • Being confident with presenting face to face and/or via conference calls
  • Using your own initiative to target new companies and proactively calling businesses
  • Taking a brief over the phone, ensuring you have all the details to put together a proposal
  • Following up cold and warm leads
  • Communicating with customers via telephone and email regarding enquiries and orders
  • Interacting with influential decision makers and building relationships with them
  • Providing customers with a timely, accurate and professional service
  • Delivering monthly targets and company KPI's along with managing own sales pipeline
  • General sales administration including maintaining sales database and processing orders
  • Preparing all quotes as required by the client, in a timely manner
  • Overcoming sales objections
  • Liaising with in-house production, and graphic departments, and precisely communicating customer event details to other departments
  • Attending networking events and exhibitions as and when necessary

The kind of person we are looking for:

As an experienced sales executive, you will be able to demonstrate your:

  • Previous sales experience, minimum 5 years
  • Proven track record and results orientated drive
  • Outbound calling / cold calling experience
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships early
  • Clear concise communication and customer focussed skills demonstrating an ability to adjust behaviour to handle different clients
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to work to tight deadlines, sometimes with short lead times
  • Outgoing and energetic, who will not let set-backs or rejections dull your enthusiasm to achieve the next sale

This appetite means we are growing fast with demand for our registration and badging solutions. What we are looking for

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a busy office environment dealing with a variety of administrative duties including accounts
  • Provide effective support to the Managing Director in all financial and HR matters
  • Purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Matching, coding and processing of purchase invoices
  • Assist management with reporting and admin as required
